Phoenix Fire ABC Boxers On Form
Phoenix Fire ABC put on their boxing show last night at the Eagle Sports Club in Warrington. The captivating show featured 15 bouts with at least 10 Phoenix Fire ABC boxers representing their club.
There were outstanding performances all round featuring strong bouts between JJ Taylor and Jack Jones form Wildcard ABC, a convincing victory for Casey Brown over Zak Corrie from stockbridge ABC, and a sensational demonstration of boxing skills from Ryan Lynskey where he left his opponent with a standing 8 count in the third round and in recovery following a strong and forceful barrage of accurate punches.
Other bouts featured female boxer Amber Leyland against Coran Grayson ABC, Bayode Olueye, Niall Gallagher against Lakan Singh from St John’s ABC and Kirk Smith against Christopher Collins from Gorton ABC.
There were also some exceptional performances last night from younger development boxers who all featured in skills bout contests.
Ricardo Jenkins, Tom Bennett & Luke Turner all displayed some truly promising boxing talent by comfortably challenging their opponents and producing superb performances of boxing skills at their best; A testament to the hard work and determination endured whilst training at the Phoenix Fire ABC.
Ricardo displayed impeccable speed and movement, Tom’s timing and jab was sensational and Luke Turner proved to be an absolute power house with incredible strength for an 11 year old.
The Eagle was packed out last night with great support from a fantastic and appreciative audience.
Phoenix Fires Next show will be at The Orford Jubilee Hub in Warrington on Saturday February 27th 2016, where they prepare to take on St Saviours Irish Olympic Boxing Academy which will also be televised and feature on Irish TV.
